Telephone Banking, Internet Banking and Merchant Capture for individuals and businesses will be unavailable between the hours of 11 pm CST Sunday, February 5, 2012 until 5 am CST Monday, February 6, 2012 for system enhancements. Fraudulent Email Alert!
All Internet and email users need to be careful when clicking on links inside unsolicited or unexpected emails as these are often hiding malware such as viruses, Trojan applications, or links to sites that are requesting your private information. No organization will ask you for your user ID, password, credit card or account information via an email. ANY request via email that asks for personal or financial information should be questioned by contacting the organization by means other than email such as a telephone call to the company, or simply deleted. For protection, Internet and email users are recommended to install and maintain a good antivirus/anti-spyware application continuously on their systems.

Fraud Alert!
If you have received an e-mail claiming to be from the FDIC, read this.

CAUTION

Please use caution when opening e-mails that say they are from the FDIC or something similar.  There is a spam e-mail going around that is a hoax and is trying to garner personal information from you and your family.  The subject line of the e-mail is usually something similar to the following:

FDIC alert: check your Bank Deposit Insurance Coverage

This message simply says that the FDIC has shut down your bank and you need to contact the FDIC at a website they provide.  This e-mail and associated Web site are fraudulent.  Recipients should consider the intent of this e-mail as an attempt to collect personal or confidential information, some of which may be used to gain unauthorized access to on-line banking services or to conduct identity theft.

We recommend that you do not click on any of the links the e-mail provides.  Please be wary of this and understand that it is not true, nor would you be receiving an e-mail like this for any valid reason.  The FDIC does not issue unsolicited e-mails to consumers.  For more information from the FDIC regarding these fraudulent e-mails please click on FDIC Consumer Alerts below.
